POST PROCEDURE INSTRUCTIONS

• Avoid touching, massaging or putting pressure on the treated area. 

• Do not receive facial/ laser treatments including waxing for at least 10 days post treatment. Please ask if you are not sure about the time frame of certain services.

• Avoid strenuous exercise, sweating for 24 hours.

• Do NOT apply make up to treated area for 24hrs post injection.

• Avoid UV and extreme hot/cold temperature exposure for at least 24hours.

• Avoid consuming excess amounts of alcohol or salts to avoid excess swelling.

• If you have swelling you may apply a cool compress for 15 minutes each hour.

• Use Panadol for discomfort. Do NOT use Ibuprofen or anti-inflammatory medication. 

• Try to sleep face up and slightly elevated if you experience swelling. 

• It is normal to experience swelling and bruising. This is, temporary and can be covered up with make-up (after 24hrs). Arnica tablets or Hirudoid cream can help if you are concerned.

• You may feel lumps for up to 2- 4wks post treatment. After 48hrs, you may massage the area gently. If you notice increasing redness, skin colour changes, increasing pain or skin lesions post treatment please contact me immediately.
